Apple has launched its next-generation CarPlay Ultra, and luxury carmaker Aston Martin is the first in the world to offer it. The new Aston Martin Apple CarPlay Ultra setup transforms the in-car experience with multi-screen support and full customization.
Multi-screen integration for drivers
CarPlay Ultra displays real-time driving data, maps, and media across both the infotainment touchscreen and instrument cluster. Users can choose from various layouts and themes for the speedometer and tachometer, as well as change colours and wallpapers to match personal preferences.
Full control with smart and manual options
Drivers can manage features like radio, climate, and more using the touchscreen, physical buttons, or Siri voice commands. It also supports widgets powered by iPhone, all neatly integrated into Aston Martin’s 10.25” infotainment screen.
Modern tech with classic buttons
The new system uses a 10.25” Pure Black touchscreen with gesture support but still keeps essential physical controls for functions like gear shifting, drive modes, and ventilation. Buttons for safety features like Lane Assist and Park Distance Control are also included.
Exclusive debut with Aston Martin
Aston Martin’s partnership with Apple began with the release of its in-house infotainment system in the DB12 (2023). This close collaboration has allowed a seamless integration of CarPlay Ultra, making Aston the first carmaker to offer it globally.
Availability and requirements
CarPlay Ultra will launch first in the USA and Canada. It will be standard on models like the Vantage, DB12, Vanquish, and DBX, and an update for existing models is coming soon. Global rollout is expected within 12 months.
To use CarPlay Ultra, drivers need an iPhone 12 or later running iOS 18.5 or higher.
The Aston Martin Apple CarPlay Ultra experience brings together luxury design, Apple innovation, and smart customization—setting a new standard in premium automotive tech.
