Baba Bageshwar Hits Back at Trolls: Defends Viral Look and Clears Donation Misuse Claims

Social media users began trolling Baba Bageshwar after pictures surfaced of him wearing a designer Gucci jacket and expensive sunglasses—both reportedly worth around ₹60,000. The viral snaps, taken on a flight, showed him dressed in modern, branded attire. Critics questioned how a spiritual leader could wear such luxury items, with some mocking him by comparing their own ₹50 sunglasses to his designer look.

Baba Fires Back: “Why the Double Standards?”

In response, Baba Bageshwar shared a strong message. He explained that while he was in Australia, he felt cold and casually mentioned needing a jacket. A disciple who had taken Diksha gifted him the jacket, which turned out to be expensive. Similarly, the sunglasses were worn because of eye discomfort during the flight—and he didn’t even know they were from Gucci.

Addressing the trolls, Baba stated:

“If a man with a bad character can wear a ₹2 lakh jacket and dance on TV, why is it a problem if a saint wears a ₹60,000 one—especially when I didn’t even buy it myself? And if this upsets you, tomorrow I’ll wear one worth ₹1.2 lakh. You can keep making your videos—I won’t change.”

Next Goal: Prada or Jackson’s?

With a smile, Baba added that next time he might wear a Prada jacket or a “Jackson’s jacket,” poking fun at how obsessed people are with his clothes rather than his teachings. He confidently said that people are too focused on brand names instead of understanding the message of Dharma.

“The Money Is for Good Deeds, Not My Comfort”

Baba Bageshwar also defended how he uses the money given by his followers. He explained that the donations from his religious sermons are spent on social causes like funding marriages for poor girls and building cancer hospitals—not on personal luxuries.

He took a firm stance against content creators who targeted him, calling them “worthless people” and warning them not to post such misleading content. He highlighted the irony of society turning a blind eye to actual wrongdoers while targeting spiritual figures over minor matters.

A Saint in the Spotlight, For More Than One Reason

While some support Baba’s bold response, others feel a spiritual leader should avoid flashy appearances. The debate continues online, but one thing is certain—Baba Bageshwar has no plans to tone it down or explain himself further.
