Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari was welcomed in various places of Syangja today. She arrived in Syangja to visit the famous religious site, Alamdevi Temple, located in Kaligandaki Rural Municipality.
Local people from different areas, including Phedikhola, Putalibazar, Bhirkot, Waling, Galyang, and Kaligandaki, greeted her with flowers and music as she traveled by road.
This afternoon, Bhandari will offer prayers and visit the Alamdevi Temple, which is considered the family deity of the Shah dynasty. Kaligandaki Rural Municipality Chairperson Khim Bahadur Thapa shared that she is visiting the temple for religious purposes, and no formal event has been planned for her visit.
