Four individuals have been arrested from Kailali with one and a half kilograms of cannabis.
A team led by DSP Ran Bahadur Chand from Malakheti Police Station apprehended the four suspects along with the narcotics.
The arrested include 28-year-old Chandrasingh Airi from Surnaya Rural Municipality-3 of Baitadi, 25-year-old Mohan Bhatt, 25-year-old Mahesh Bik, and 39-year-old Gagan Bohara from Chhabispathibhera Rural Municipality-7 of Bajhang.
Among them, Airi, Bhatt, and Bik were caught with 469 grams of cannabis during a suspicious check in Godawari Municipality-1, Bharatpur, while Bohara was arrested from Bipin Hotel located in Godawari Municipality-2.
Police have taken all four into custody and are conducting further investigations.
