Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, has left for a week-long official visit to China. He is leading a five-member delegation to participate in a special event marking the 70th anniversary of Nepal–China diplomatic relations, as announced by the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.
Before departing, CM Pandey appointed Padma Gyawali Joshi, Minister for Agriculture, Land Management, and Cooperatives, as the Acting Chief Minister during his absence.
The Chief Minister and his team were given a warm send-off at Pokhara International Airport by other provincial ministers and senior government officials. According to the official schedule, the delegation is expected to return to Nepal on Shrawan 12 (July 28, 2025).
