Gold prices have continued their downward trend, with a decrease of Rs 500 per tola today. Over the last month and a half, gold has lost Rs 22,500 per tola in value.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold has been set at Rs 148,500 per tola today, down from Rs 149,000 yesterday.
Silver prices also saw a decline, dropping by Rs 20 per tola. The current price of silver stands at Rs 1,760 per tola, compared to Rs 1,780 yesterday.
Earlier this week, gold prices briefly rose by Rs 600 per tola on Monday and Tuesday, but fell by Rs 700 on Wednesday and Rs 1,700 on Thursday. On Sunday, the price of gold saw a sharp drop of Rs 2,200 per tola.
