Television actor and comedian Rakesh Poojary, known for winning Season 3 of Comedy Kiladigalu, passed away at the age of 34 due to a sudden cardiac arrest. The incident occurred late Sunday night during a mehendi function in Nitte near Udupi, where he reportedly collapsed and was declared dead shortly after.

Hailing from Karkala in Udupi district, Rakesh was the son of Dinkar Poojary and Shambhavi. He gained popularity through his role in the Kannada serial Hitler Kalyana and had also worked in several other TV shows and films.
