Kollywood actor Dhanush is back with a bang! His latest film Kubera is making waves at the box office and winning hearts across the board. The movie, which hit theatres on June 20, has received a strong response from audiences and critics alike.
Star Cast Impresses
Kubera features an exciting cast—Dhanush in the lead, alongside veteran Telugu actor Akkineni Nagarjuna in a key role. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead and adds charm to the film. The movie is produced by Suniel and Ram Mohan Rao under Asian Cinemas, with music composed by the ever-popular Devi Sri Prasad.

Despite a slightly slow start with morning shows, Kubera picked up momentum from matinee shows and ran with houseful boards. The film collected an impressive ₹27.5 crore gross on its opening day—a strong start indeed.
Thanks to outstanding word of mouth, the second-day performance was equally remarkable, raking in around ₹23.5 crore gross. With a two-day total of ₹51 crore gross, Kubera is well on its way to becoming a superhit.
