Singer and TV star Lee Mi Joo has firmly denied rumors that she is dating professional baseball player Lee Jin Young of the Hanwha Eagles.
On July 25, Lee Mi Joo’s agency Antenna told Xportsnews, “The dating rumors between Lee Mi Joo and Lee Jin Young are completely unfounded. They have never even met.”
The speculation began after Lee Mi Joo posted a video on her YouTube channel, offering fans a first look inside her home. Some viewers noticed similarities—like the curtains, round table, and lighting—in her living room and a photo that Lee Jin Young had shared on social media to thank fans for his birthday wishes.
Fans quickly compared both backgrounds, leading many to believe the two might be romantically involved.
Fueling the speculation was the fact that Lee Mi Joo has openly expressed her support for the Hanwha Eagles. Back in 2018, she told JTBC’s Knowing Bros, “I became a Hanwha fan after throwing a ceremonial first pitch at one of their games.” She was also recently spotted watching a Hanwha game in her own YouTube content.
This isn’t the first time Lee Mi Joo has made headlines over her love life. In April 2023, she went public with her relationship with soccer player Song Bumkeun, but the two reportedly broke up earlier this year after nine months of dating.
