A man from Satyawati, Palpa, has been arrested on charges of rape.
The police arrested 32-year-old Shiv Bahadur Ghimire from Khursane, Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality-8.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Malla, Ghimire is accused of luring a 12-year-old girl and raping her in a room at his house. He has been taken into custody for further investigation with an extended remand from the Palpa District Court.
