A young man died at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj. 29-year-old Sabin Maharjan from Kirtipur passed away, as confirmed by the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Deputy Secretary Chhabi Rijal.
He was injured during a royalist protest on Friday afternoon and was taken to the hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
He was immediately rushed to the Teaching Hospital for treatment after the protest. According to Dr. Subas Acharya, the hospital’s director, he had a gunshot wound to his neck.
“He was brought to the hospital at 4:30 p.m., and he was already dead when he arrived. He had been shot in the neck,” Dr. Acharya told Media.
