A 24-year-old man was found dead inside a café room in Gaighat, Udaypur. The man, identified as Bishal Hamal Thakuri from Asari, Triyuga-13, was discovered on Wednesday morning at Aapaj Café in Triyuga-11.
According to police, café staff got suspicious after he didn’t come out of his room till late morning. When they opened the door, they found him unresponsive and informed the police.
DSP Kedar Man Dong of Udaypur Police confirmed that beer bottles and drug-related items were found in the room. Bishal had reportedly arrived at the café around 7 PM the previous evening and seemed heavily intoxicated.
The body has been sent to the district hospital for postmortem. The case is now under investigation to find out the exact cause of death.
