The body, estimated to be of a 60-year-old man, was discovered in the Durga Temple area at Murlichowk, Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-4, Dhanusha. His identity has not yet been confirmed.
According to Dhanusha police spokesperson DSP Barun Bahadur Singh, the police were informed about the body at around 6:30 AM today.
Based on the scene, it appears the man might have been killed after an argument, with bricks used as a weapon. Alcohol bottles were also found at the site.
The police suspect the incident happened last evening or during the night. They are currently investigating the case.
