The monsoon system has now officially spread across the entire country. According to a special bulletin from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon, which entered Nepal on Jestha 15, has taken 23 days to cover all provinces.

Initially, it entered from the east and spread over most parts of Koshi Province. By Jestha 29, it had reached some parts of Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and eastern Lumbini. As of today, monsoon winds have also extended into Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim, making it active nationwide.
Meteorologist Pratima Manandhar confirmed that the current weather is influenced by both monsoon winds in the east and local winds in the west. She also mentioned that a low-pressure system near West Bengal in India is adding to the current weather activity in Nepal.
