Dr. Shail Rupakheti, Nepal’s Ambassador to Germany, has formally presented his credentials to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
The presentation ceremony took place on December 18 at Steinmeier’s official residence in Berlin, as confirmed by the Nepali Embassy. After the ceremony, Ambassador Rupakheti had a brief discussion with President Steinmeier, during which he informed him about Nepal’s current political situation, regional geopolitics, and the country’s main priorities.
President Steinmeier also mentioned the visit of Nepali President Ram Chandra Poudel to Germany earlier this year and emphasized the strengthening of ties between the two nations. The ceremony was attended by senior officials from Germany and staff members from the Nepali Embassy in Berlin.
