Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ held a meeting. Prachanda visited Biplav’s residence in Harisiddhi for the talks.
During the meeting, they discussed the current political situation and the possibility of unifying the two parties.
Earlier, the Maoist Centre’s Standing Committee meeting, held from August 1 to 4, had decided to form a committee to move forward with the unity process with Biplav’s party.
