The principal and a teacher got into a physical fight at Machi Jhitkahiya Secondary School in Kamala Municipality-2, Dhanusha.
The incident happened between Principal Jagarnath Yadav and teacher Rohit Yadav over an advance salary request.
The dispute started when Rohit asked for an advance salary, citing his mother’s passing. As the argument escalated, it led to verbal abuse, pushing, and eventually a physical fight. Other teachers present tried to separate them.
Principal Jagarnath claimed that Rohit asked for NPR 50,000, but he could only provide NPR 25,000 as per the rules. He said Rohit then tried to attack him, though he insisted it was just a minor dispute.
Meanwhile, Ward Chairperson Thakku Yadav said that when he arrived, he found it was only a small argument over the advance salary.
“I advised both of them and told them to file a complaint if there was any serious issue,” he added.
