Princy Khatiwada, a well-known content creator, is all set to step into the film industry with her debut in the upcoming Nepali movie Batulo Jun. She will star opposite popular actor Anmol KC in the lead role.
Onscreen Romance with Anmol KC
According to sources, Princy officially signed the film last week. In this movie, she will be seen sharing romantic scenes with Anmol KC, making this her first major acting project.
Shooting to Start Soon in Chitlang
The film’s production will take place in two phases. The first phase of shooting begins next week in Chitlang, focusing on grape farming scenes. The second phase will begin after the monsoon season. Both lead actors are currently attending acting workshops to prepare for their roles.
Rural Backdrop and a Low-Budget Twist
Batulo Jun will be directed by Bhuwan KC and produced by Jiya KC. The story is based in a rural setting, and interestingly, Anmol KC will be seen in a village character for the first time. It’s also being called the most budget-friendly film of his career so far.
Princy’s Acting Journey Started Earlier
Although Batulo Jun is her official Nepali film debut, Princy had earlier acted in a Hindi movie called Sapna, which hasn’t been released yet. She and her sister Prisma Khatiwada rose to fame through TikTok and have featured in several music videos.
