The team that came closest to completing a perfect season was Nantes in 1994/95. They went 32 games without a loss before being beaten and still won the league that year.
PSG Sets New Away Record
With this result, PSG now holds the record for the longest unbeaten away run in Ligue 1 history. They have gone 39 matches without losing away from home since February 2023. The previous record was AC Milan’s 38-game away streak in Serie A from 1991 to 1993.

PSG coach Luis Enrique praised his players for breaking the record. He said, “Today is special for us. I congratulate my players.” Vitinha scored the opening goal with a powerful half-volley. PSG had more of the ball but didn’t create many chances. Joao Neves had one good opportunity, but the goalkeeper made a strong save.
Nantes Show Heart and Determination
Nantes could have equalised earlier in the game, but Donnarumma saved a good shot from Jean-Charles Castelletto. Later, Matthis Abline made a long run and helped set up the equaliser for Douglas Augusto. The crowd of over 34,000 fans celebrated the goal.

This match was originally supposed to be played on April 12 or 13. It was moved so PSG could have more rest between the two legs of their Champions League quarter-final against Aston Villa.

Before their Champions League match against Arsenal next Tuesday, PSG will play another Ligue 1 game against Nice on Friday. Coach Luis Enrique is expected to rotate his squad again. In this game, he left out Achraf Hakimi and used players like Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue from the bench.
