In Sada village of Manara Siswa Municipality-4, Mahottari, a group of robbers killed a homeowner and stole valuables worth lakhs this morning.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Santulal Prasad Jaiswar, the robbers broke into the house of 70-year-old Sushil Jha at around 4 AM. They attacked and killed him, stealing a gold necklace, a gold ring, and Rs. 80,000 in cash.
Jha was living with his wife, who sustained minor injuries during the attack. The robbers, a group of 7-8 masked men armed with weapons, carried out the robbery.
Police are investigating the scene to determine if more items were stolen. Jha’s body is still at the site.
