The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has appealed to the Speaker of the House, Devraj Ghimire, not to suspend their leader, Rabi Lamichhane, from his parliamentary role.
On Monday, RSP lawmakers Santosh Pariyar, Sobita Gautam, and Ganesh Parajuli met Speaker Ghimire in Singha Durbar and asked him to reconsider any potential suspension.
In response, Speaker Ghimire mentioned that the issue is under discussion, and a decision will be made based on the Constitution, laws, and parliamentary guidelines.
