A young man went missing after he went for a swim in the Bada River at Rambag in Gulariya Municipality-5 on Wednesday evening. Since Thursday morning, divers from the Armed Police Force in Banke have been searching for him.
At 5 AM, four divers and nine other personnel were deployed at the scene to search for the missing young man.
Srijan Pokharel, a resident of Gulariya-5, went swimming with his friends when he disappeared, said Armed Police Inspector Man Bahadur Shahi.
The others were safely rescued, but despite a search on Wednesday evening, the missing person was not found. The divers from the Armed Police, who came from Shamsherganj in Banke, continued the search on Thursday.
