Sooraj Pancholi Injured on Kesari Veer Set

Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi recently had a tough day on set while filming for his upcoming historical action film, Kesari Veer: Legend of Somnath. During an intense stunt sequence at Film City, Mumbai, things took an unexpected turn when a pyrotechnic explosion went off earlier than planned, leaving him with severe burns on his thighs and hamstrings.

A source close to the production shared that the scene required Sooraj to leap over an explosion. Unfortunately, the timing was slightly off, and the blast happened right beneath him, causing the injuries. Thankfully, a medical team was on standby to assist him.

What’s truly impressive, though, is that Sooraj refused to take a break and continued shooting despite the pain. His commitment to the film is evident, and those on set couldn’t help but admire his dedication.

Directed by Prince Dhiman, Kesari Veer: Legend of Somnath is an epic war drama set around the historic battle at Gujarat’s Somnath temple. The film features an exciting ensemble cast, including Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Akanksha Sharma. Reports suggest that Vivek will be playing the antagonist, while Suniel Shetty’s character will aid in protecting the temple.

Sooraj, son of Bollywood actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, made his debut with Hero in 2015. With Kesari Veer, he is set to showcase a completely different side of himself. Fans are eager to see him in this never-seen-before avatar, and if his dedication on set is anything to go by, he’s definitely giving this role his all.

Here’s wishing him a speedy recovery and a successful film!
