Popular singer Sonu Nigam had an unexpected and tense moment during his concert at Delhi Technological University’s (DTU) Engifest 2025. Some unruly students in the huge crowd of over one lakh people began throwing stones and bottles toward the stage, creating panic.
Nigam’s Calm Response
Despite the chaos, Sonu Nigam stayed composed and addressed the crowd politely. He urged everyone to enjoy the event without causing trouble. “Main aapke liye aaya hun yahan pe so that we can all have a good time. I’m not asking you to not enjoy, but please aisa na kariye,” he requested.
The singer also expressed concern for his team members, some of whom were injured in the commotion.
Show Resumes After Situation Controlled
Thankfully, after security brought the situation under control, Nigam resumed his performance and continued to entertain the audience.
