Basanti Upadhyay, a 43-year-old woman from Budhiganga Municipality-3, Basali, died on Thursday morning after falling from a tree while cutting grass near her home. The branch she was standing on broke, causing her to fall, according to Bajura police.
She was a teacher at Bahalikot Basic School, working in the Early Childhood Development Center.
Doctors declared her dead shortly after she was taken to Brahmatola Health Post for treatment.
