Television’s power couple, Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra, have long been fan favorites since their chemistry sparked inside the Bigg Boss 15 house. While their off-screen romance continues to charm fans, the duo has surprisingly stayed away from collaborating on-screen post the reality show — apart from a few music videos. So why haven’t they worked together on any major show or film yet?
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Tejasswi revealed the reason, and it’s a cheeky one. “I feel people crave to see us together,” she said, adding with a laugh, “But we are just too expensive (together).”
Despite the constant buzz around them — including swirling breakup rumors — the Naagin 6 star shared that she and Karan don’t let the noise affect them. In fact, she said the two laughed it off when they heard the rumors about their split.
“I know that there is a lot of focus on my personal life,” Tejasswi admitted, “but I don’t think the entire focus is just on that.” She emphasized that both she and Karan are focused on their individual careers. “Karan is also independently doing his projects, and I am also doing mine. I don’t think that it has affected us in terms of work.”
On the topic of marriage, the actress made it clear that wedding bells aren’t ringing anytime soon. The couple, she says, is focused on personal and professional growth for now.
Recently, Tejasswi appeared on Celebrity MasterChef, hosted by Farah Khan, where she impressed audiences and judges alike, finishing as the second runner-up. Meanwhile, reports are swirling that the couple might feature in Netflix’s glitzy reality series Dubai Bling, though there’s no official confirmation yet.
For now, fans will have to wait a little longer to see TejRan together on screen — but going by their charm and fan following, when it happens, it’s bound to be worth the wait.
