Police have arrested three people in Pokhara for allegedly running a sex business inside a restaurant.
Those arrested are 40-year-old Padam Lumba, who runs Manika Restaurant in Srijana Chowk; 51-year-old Tej Narayan Timilsina from Malepatan, Pokhara; and 21-year-old Salon Gurung from Byas Municipality-5, Tanahun.
Police also rescued five women from the restaurant.
According to Kaski police spokesperson DSP Hari Basnet, the District Court has granted six days of custody for further investigation under human trafficking charges.
