accident

A tipper truck fell into the Bheri River in Rukum West on Tuesday night, leaving three people missing. The incident occurred at Pipalchaur in Aathbiskot Municipality–14.

The tipper, with license plate Ra 1 Ka 1501, was traveling from Dalli in Nalagad Municipality, Jajarkot, toward Rimna when it veered off the road and plunged into the river. According to Sub-Inspector Shiu Kumar Chaudhary from the Area Police Office in Rimna, three people including the driver were on board, and their whereabouts remain unknown.

Police teams from both Rukum West and Jajarkot have been mobilized for the search. However, rescue efforts have been challenging due to the high water level in the Bheri River.

The names and addresses of the missing individuals have not been confirmed yet. The tipper reportedly belonged to Yeti Builders, a company working on the Bheri Corridor project.
