Two Nepali Students Killed in Car Crash in the US

Two Nepali youths tragically lost their lives in a car accident in the United States. The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Rajan Yadav and 20-year-old Rozin Oli, both students at Louisiana Tech University. While it has been confirmed that both were Nepali citizens, their exact addresses in Nepal remain unknown.

The fatal accident occurred around 9 PM on Asar 29 (July 13) during heavy rainfall, according to Louisiana State Police. The vehicle, reportedly driven by Yadav, lost control on a slippery road and crashed into a tree before catching fire. Oli and Yadav died on the spot. Two other passengers in the car were injured and are currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.

The incident is under investigation by authorities to determine further details about the crash.

University Mourns Loss

Louisiana Tech University issued a condolence statement following the incident, expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss. Although the statement did not name the victims, University President Jim Henderson shared a message on Facebook urging students to care for one another. The university has also made counseling services available to those affected by the tragedy.
