Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Kingdom is one of the most talked-about movies of the year. With Vijay in a never-seen-before intense and rugged look, the excitement around the film is sky-high. He looks fierce, unstoppable, and powerful—fans are calling it one of his most thrilling avatars yet.
Adding to the hype, producer Naga Vamsi recently hinted that Kingdom will be released in two parts. In a conversation with GreatAndhra, he revealed, “We gave conclusions and justifications to all the links and opened them for Part 2. The entire film will go in a proper flow.” This statement has only amplified the buzz among fans, who are eager to see what unfolds.
After several changes in the release date—from March 30 to May 30, and then to July 4—the makers have now locked in July 31, 2025, as the final release date.
Earlier, producer Vamsi took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared a passionate note about the film’s delay. “I know I get sweet curses about the film’s delay. But trust me, our team is working around the clock to bring you a massive big-screen experience,” he wrote. “One thing I can promise you – the ADRENALINE RUSH this film delivers is unreal. Kingdom has WINNER written all over it.”
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. It is produced by Sithara Entertainments in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John.
Apart from Kingdom, Vijay Deverakonda also has VD 14 and SVC59 lined up. SVC59 is set for a grand pan-India release in 2025 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
