The much-awaited trailer for War 2 is finally out! The 2-minute 39-second video gives a powerful glimpse into the sixth film of YRF’s Spy Universe. Hrithik Roshan returns as Kabir—looking tougher, stronger, and more intense than ever before.
Sharing the trailer on X (formerly Twitter), Hrithik wrote:

Hrithik wraps shoot with emotional goodbye
Hrithik recently completed shooting for the film and shared an emotional farewell with the team, followed by a secret dinner gathering.
Trailer packed with action, emotion, and style
The trailer shows a perfect mix of drama, action, romance, and emotion. Hrithik’s character, Kabir, shows everything from patriotic passion to romantic moments and thrilling face-offs.
He goes up against Jr NTR, Kiara Advani, and Ashutosh Rana’s character Colonel Luthra in six major action sequences. The storyline also hints at a mystery around Kabir’s past, making things even more intense.
Kabir pays tribute to Captain Khalid Rahmani (played by Tiger Shroff in War 2019), bringing in a wave of nostalgia. The chemistry between Hrithik and Kiara also adds a fresh touch. This marks Hrithik’s first time sharing the screen with Jr NTR and Kiara, and also his first collaboration with director Ayan Mukerji.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 will release in theatres worldwide on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The first War movie in 2019 was a huge success and became the highest-grossing film of the year.
