A woman lost her life in a motorcycle accident at Panighat, Chandragiri-4, Kathmandu. The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Sunita Balami from Kakani-1, Nuwakot.
The accident took place around 7:45 PM on Saturday evening. Sunita was riding pillion on a Bagmati Province-registered bike (02-01 Pa 8068), traveling from Chitlang to Kathmandu.
She was critically injured and died during treatment at APF Hospital in Balambu. The rider, Man Bahadur Balami—also from Kakani-1, Nuwakot—is currently receiving medical care at the same hospital.
The motorcycle has been kept at the Thankot Police Station for further investigation.
