Viewership Soars as Tension Rises
Episode 4 delivered a thrilling ride as crews competed in the much-anticipated “World of K-pop” mission. The episode not only delivered intense battles but also impressive ratings—securing an average viewership of 1.7%, peaking at 2.0% in Seoul’s metropolitan area. WSWF held the #1 spot in its time slot among viewers aged 15–39 and 20–49 for the fourth week running. On TVING, it dominated with a massive 95.3% live channel share, cementing its status as a digital powerhouse.
K-pop Mission Brings Fire and Elimination
In a celebration of K-pop artistry, the dancers choreographed and performed routines to tracks by icons like G-Dragon, Jennie, and aespa. Matchups included MOTIV vs. Osaka Ojo Gang, BUMSUP vs. RHTokyo, and AG SQUAD vs. Royal Family.
A standout segment was the “Choreography Copy Challenge,” where teams had to replicate their opponents’ moves in real-time—a true test of agility and adaptability that heavily influenced the final judging.
MOTIV secured a win against Osaka Ojo Gang via global fan votes after a tie in judge scores. BUMSUP dominated their round with a bold performance to Jennie’s track, eliminating RHTokyo. AG SQUAD, with their crisp white-glove performance to an aespa song, knocked Royal Family into the danger zone.
Heartbreaking Exit for Royal Family
The elimination showdown unfolded in a high-stakes best-of-five format, judged by dance legends Mike Song, BABYSLEEK, Baek Koo Young, Ashley Everett, and Kazuki Yo. Osaka Ojo Gang came out swinging, quickly winning the first two rounds. Royal Family made a dramatic comeback, pushing the battle to round five, but ultimately fell short in the final leader face-off.
Tisha, Royal Family’s leader, gave a tearful farewell:
“This has been an unforgettable experience. Though our journey ends here, Royal Family will continue dancing and dreaming.”
What’s Next: Mega Crew Mayhem with Jennie
Looking ahead, the show is gearing up for the explosive “Mega Crew Mission,” set to be introduced by Jennie herself. Teams will present grand-scale performances showcasing their cultural roots, enhanced by the new “High Angle Challenge” for an added visual spectacle.
