A young girl drowned in a pond in Chandragiri Municipality.
Five-year-old Purnima Thapa from Kalimati Rural Municipality-4, Salyan, drowned in a pond inside an under-construction park in Ward 8.
After finding her in the water, her father, Ghanashyam, immediately took her to APF Hospital in Balambu. However, the hospital confirmed that she passed away during treatment.
