A young man was shot and killed in Baitadi. According to the police, 25-year-old Surendra Bista from Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-8 was shot and murdered.
District Police Office chief, DSP Makendra Mishra, said that Surendra was shot on Saturday evening. He was injured in the attack and later died during treatment at the district hospital.
The police suspect that 45-year-old Karna Bista, who is related to the victim as an elder brother, fired the shot. Karna is on the run, and the police are searching for him.
The two argued over money earlier in the day. The shooting happened in the evening following the dispute, according to the police.
