Oli Slams Prachanda Over Combodia Investment

Prime Minister and CPN-UML chairman KP Sharma Oli accused Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ leader of the Maoist Center, of spreading false rumors that Oli has 3.2 billion NPR invested in Cambodia.

Speaking at a training program for elected ward chairs of Bagmati Province, Oli said these rumors are baseless and are fueled by Prachanda. He also pointed fingers at Madhav Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal for supporting these false claims.

Oli criticized Madhav Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal for their weak leadership when they led the party. He said they failed to manage the party effectively and tried to control it selfishly. Oli claimed that his team replaced the outdated leadership with a vision for a prosperous Nepal and happy citizens, which upset his opponents, leading them to conspire against him.

This statement highlights ongoing political tensions within Nepal’s major parties and raises questions about trust and leadership struggles ahead.
