A fatal accident occurred in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality-2, Alapot, when two motorcycles collided, resulting in one death.
The crash involved a motorcycle with registration number Bagmati Province 02-037 P 0903 and another with registration number Ba 71 P 1471 on the road in Alapot.
The accident took place on Saturday night, claiming the life of 21-year-old Rajan Katuwal, a resident of Chaudandigadhi Municipality, Udayapur, who was riding the Bagmati Province 02-037 P 0903 motorcycle.
Katuwal, who sustained severe injuries, was rushed to Nepal Medical College, Attarkhel, for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing medical care, as confirmed by the Central News Desk of the Police.
Meanwhile, the police have taken the rider of the Ba 71 P 1471 motorcycle into custody for further investigation.
