A cement-carrying trailer had an accident in Rolpa, resulting in one death. According to the District Police Office, Rolpa, 29-year-old Ayush Giri, the helper of the trailer and a resident of Hapur, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-11, Dang, died at the scene.
The accident happened at Duikhola, Triveni Rural Municipality-2, along the Sahid Marg road section, when the trailer (number Na 1 Kha 6968) carrying cement fell about 150 meters down from the road into a stream.
The driver of the trailer, 30-year-old Krishna Prasad Dangi from Parivartan Rural Municipality-2, was seriously injured. The police said he is currently receiving treatment at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Ghorahi, Dang.
