SB19’s ‘Pagtatag! The Documentary’ Set to Stream on Netflix Philippines This July

SB19’s critically acclaimed Pagtatag! The Documentary is officially coming to Netflix Philippines on July 23, bringing the emotional and unfiltered story of the P-pop trailblazers to a wider audience. Directed by Jed Regala, the film has earned the title of the highest-grossing Filipino documentary of all time, as confirmed by Columbia Pictures Philippines.

Originally released in cinemas in August 2024, Pagtatag! The Documentary chronicles SB19’s transformative era—the Pagtatag! EP rollout, the global tour that followed, and their major shift from being under ShowBT to independently managing their careers through their own label, 1Z Entertainment.

The film delivers an intimate portrayal of the group’s evolution, highlighting their challenges with anxiety, internal pressure, canceled performances, and the relentless pursuit of creative freedom. With compelling footage from their Pagtatag! World Tour and emotional sit-downs, fans get a rare look at the real stories behind the group’s rise and resilience.

Netflix has listed the documentary under its “New & Hot” section, and international fans won’t be left behind—Pagtatag! is confirmed to stream in Singapore, Japan, the UK, the US, and Canada starting the same day.

SB19, composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, continues to break barriers as the forefront of P-pop’s global expansion. This documentary serves as both a love letter to their fans—A’TIN—and a powerful statement on the importance of authenticity and independence in the music industry.

As the countdown to the Netflix premiere begins, anticipation grows among fans and newcomers alike, ready to witness the passion and pain behind SB19’s “Pagtatag”—their era of establishment, perseverance, and growth.
