Palak Tiwari Talks About Her Cinema Journey and Identity

Palak Tiwari, the daughter of actress Shweta Tiwari, recently opened up about her passion for cinema and her personal journey to establish herself in the film industry.

Palak shared that her love for films has always been a part of her, with no particular reason or trigger behind it. For her, films are more than just glamour and fame—they offer an opportunity to express herself and explore different facets of her personality.

Reflecting on her connection to cinema, Palak said, “I’ve always been drawn to films. There’s no one reason for it, it’s just something that resonated with me. Through films, I feel like I have the freedom to experiment and create my own space. It’s my chance to build my identity.”

Known for her role in Harrdy Sandhu’s popular music video “Bijlee Bijlee,” Palak rose to fame quickly. She made her Bollywood debut in the horror thriller Rosie: The Saffron Chapter, directed by Vishal Mishra, followed by her appearance in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which hit theaters on April 12, 2023. The movie, directed by Farhad Samji, also featured stars like Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, and Venkatesh Daggubati.

Earlier, Palak shared her reasons for choosing a horror film like Rosie for her debut, rather than starting with a film featuring a big-name actor. In an interview with IANS, she explained, “The movie picked me. After hearing the story synopsis, it was hard to say no. The director’s vision for Rosie intrigued me. Your debut is always significant, and I’ve felt ready to take this step for a while.”
