Actor and politician Pawan Kalyan is back in Hyderabad with his wife Anna Lezhneva and children Polena and Mark Shankar Pawanovich. The family flew back from Singapore after a terrifying fire accident at Mark’s school left the seven-year-old injured.
Videos showing the family at Hyderabad airport on Saturday have gone viral on social media. In the clips, Pawan is seen carrying Mark in his arms, showing his love and care as a father. Fans were emotional and relieved to see Mark recovering.
Injuries and Medical Treatment
Mark Shankar reportedly suffered burn injuries to his hands and legs, along with lung complications due to smoke inhalation. He had to undergo several medical procedures, including bronchoscopy, soon after the accident. Thanks to quick medical help, he is now on the road to recovery.
Hanuman Jayanti Brings Hope and Relief
Interestingly, the family returned on Hanuman Jayanti, which made the moment even more special for fans and well-wishers. Many saw the day as a blessing, believing that Lord Hanuman protected the child.
Actor Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan’s elder brother and a devoted follower of Lord Hanuman, also shared his gratitude. He thanked everyone who prayed for Mark’s recovery and said it was a miracle the boy was safe.

Earlier, Pawan Kalyan opened up about how he only learned about the seriousness of the incident later. “Initially, I didn’t know how bad the situation was. Later, I found out that many kids were injured and one child even lost their life. It was heartbreaking,” he said. He also praised the construction workers nearby who stepped in quickly and helped with the rescue efforts before emergency teams arrived.
