Another plane crash in the U.S. has killed at least seven people, just days after a previous accident that claimed 67 lives.
A small plane crashed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, killing seven people and injuring 19 others.
According to Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker, six people on board and at least one person on the ground died. The death toll could rise.
The plane was carrying a patient with two pilots, a doctor, a healthcare worker, and the patient’s mother. All of them were Mexican citizens.
The Learjet 55 had stopped in Missouri before heading to Tijuana, Mexico. However, just one minute after takeoff, the plane crashed. A video shows the aircraft falling rapidly and catching fire. It also hit several houses before crashing to the ground.
Nineteen people were injured and are receiving treatment.
This incident comes shortly after a military helicopter and a passenger plane collided in Washington, D.C., last Wednesday, killing 67 people.
