The death toll from a plane crash in South Korea this morning has reached 64.
A Jeju Air flight arriving from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed while attempting to land at Muan International Airport in Muan County, South Korea.
According to news agency Yonhap, the crash occurred with 181 people on board, including six crew members, resulting in the deaths of 85 people.
The aircraft skidded off the runway and struck a barrier, after which it caught fire.
Among the passengers, two were from Thailand, while the rest were South Korean nationals. Two individuals were rescued alive from the crash site.
The accident site is located 288 kilometers southwest of the capital, Seoul.
