Help Nepal and Nepal Police Club have successfully defended their titles at the 9th PM Cup NVA Volleyball League 2025, held in Pokhara.
Thrilling Comeback by Help Nepal in Men’s Final
Help Nepal claimed the PM Cup NVA Volleyball League men’s title with a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Gandaki Province in the final held at Pokhara Rangashala. After losing the first two sets 25-20 and 27-25, Help Nepal bounced back to win the next three sets 25-22, 25-14, and 15-8.
With this win, Help Nepal secured its third consecutive and fifth overall league title. The team also earned qualification for the upcoming CAVA Men’s Club Championship.
Gandaki Province, aiming to avenge last year’s final defeat, came close but couldn’t maintain their lead.
Nepal Police Club Crowned Women’s Champions Again
In the women’s final, Nepal Police Club defeated New Diamond Youth Sports Academy 3-1 to retain the championship. Police started strong, taking the first set 25-20. Although Diamond leveled by winning the second set 25-22, Police edged a tight third set 28-26 and comfortably sealed the victory with a 25-14 win in the fourth.
Police had also beaten Diamond in straight sets during the league stage. This marks their second consecutive women’s title at the PM Cup NVA Volleyball League.
Third Place Matches
In the men’s category, Nepal Police Club finished third after defeating Tribhuvan Army Club.
Everest Volleyball Club secured third place in the women’s category by beating Nepal APF Club.

Successful Hosting Outside Kathmandu
This was the first time the PM Cup NVA Volleyball League was hosted outside Kathmandu. A total of 8 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams competed in this exciting national-level event organized by the Nepal Volleyball Association.
