In Dhanusha, the police made a warning shot. The incident occurred when the police attempted to seize smuggled goods in Musarniya Municipality-6, located on the southern side of Dhanusha.
After an attempt to attack the police, a round of warning fire was made, as informed by Dhanusha’s police chief, SP Bhuwaneshwar Tiwari.
When the police tried to seize the smuggled goods from the house of local Bhaju Yadav, an attempt to attack was made.
Following this, the police fired a warning shot in self-defense, as stated by Dhanusha police spokesperson, DSP Barun Bahadur Singh.
After the warning shot, the smugglers fled, and 14 sacks of smuggled goods were recovered from the house, he added.
