Police Rescue Man from Drain in Teku

According to DSP Rupesh Khadka from Kalimati Police Circle, the identity of the rescued man is yet to be confirmed.

A man who had entered a drain in Teku, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-2, was rescued by the police.

The Disaster Management Team from Samakhusi carried out the rescue near the Kanak Petrol Pump in Teku.

According to DSP Rupesh Khadka from Kalimati Police Circle, the identity of the rescued man is yet to be confirmed. He is estimated to be around 31–32 years old.

The man fell into the drain around 6:45 AM on Sunday. As soon as the police received the information, the disaster management team rushed to the scene and carried out the rescue operation.

Police reported that the man appeared to have a mental health condition. He has been taken to the National Trauma Center for treatment.
