The arrest took place at his residence in Yellareddyguda, near New Science Colony, at around 8:45 pm. The news of his arrest has quickly spread, with videos of the incident circulating online.

The 66-year-old actor was arrested under several legal provisions, including BNS Sections 196, 353 (2), and 111, in addition to BNSS Section 47 (1) and (2). The specific reason behind his arrest is still unclear, as the police have not provided full details.
