Ahead of his upcoming nationwide tour, Nepali singer Pramod Kharel has dropped an exciting new dance track, “Lai Lai Lai,” which promises to get fans on their feet. The song was released on his YouTube channel on Monday evening, and it’s sure to make waves with its catchy beat and romantic vibes.
Written and composed by Krishna KC, with Pramod lending his vocals and Yogesh Kaji handling the music arrangement, the track is already a hit. The music video is equally appealing, featuring actors Paul Shah and Juna Vishwakarma. Directed by Shyam Thapa and choreographed by Roshan Vishwakarma, the video is a visual treat.
In a conversation with Online Khabar, Pramod shared that he immediately found the song “catchy” when he first heard it. He mentioned that while in the U.S., he had discussed the idea with Krishna KC. Pramod was eager for a new dance track and, after returning to Nepal, worked with Yogesh Kaji to finalize it. They recorded it with the help of his band members.
Interestingly, the song had already gained popularity on TikTok before its full version was released on YouTube. A shorter version of the track had been circulating, sparking numerous TikTok videos.
Pramod Kharel, along with his band ‘Parampara,’ is gearing up for a nationwide musical tour starting from 2nd Falgun. In preparation for the tour, Pramod excitedly dropped the new song, which he plans to perform live during the tour.
The first show is scheduled for 2nd Falgun in Sauraha, Chitwan. The tour will continue with performances on 3rd Falgun in Chakraghatti, Sunsari, 5th Falgun in Mechidangi, Jhapa, 9th Falgun in Mai Municipality, Ilam, 10th Falgun at Birat Expo in Biratchowk, Morang, and 12th Falgun in Chulachuli, Ilam.
This year, Pramod has revived his band, and they have already performed in cities like Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Bhairahawa, Lekhnath Pokhara, Dumre (Tanahu), and Sikkim (India). The band includes Pramod as the lead vocalist, Devashish Tamang on lead guitar, Kushal Thapa on bass guitar, Rahul Bhujel on keyboard, Bhupen Rasaili on drums, JP Joshi on madal, and Sanjeev Mainali on flute.
