President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to five newly appointed ambassadors during a special ceremony held at the President’s Office today. The event took place at Shital Niwas, where the ambassadors took their formal oaths in the presence of high-ranking government officials.
The newly appointed ambassadors are Jang Bahadur Chauhan, who will represent Nepal in the Russian Federation, and Chandra Kumar Ghimire, who has been appointed as Nepal’s ambassador to the United Kingdom. Additionally, Sanil Nepal will serve as the ambassador to Spain, Shiva Maya Tumbahangphe will represent Nepal in South Korea, and Shankar Sharma has been appointed as the ambassador to India.
The ceremony saw the presence of several senior officials, emphasizing the importance of these diplomatic appointments as Nepal strengthens its relationships with these key countries.
