The Sudurpaschim Provincial Qualifier of the Prime Minister Cup Women’s T20 Cricket Tournament will take place at the Dasharathchand Cricket Ground in Sundarkhali, Baitadi. The tournament will run from Poush 19 to Poush 25.
According to Anil Kumar Bista, Secretary of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Cricket Association, the matches will be played on two newly constructed turf pitches at the Dasharathchand Cricket Ground, supported by the Cricket Association of Nepal. Baitadi District Cricket Association President Binod Bahadur Chand mentioned that playing on turf pitches will help players prepare for higher-level competitions.
Participating Teams and Match Schedule
Eight teams from the province will participate, divided into two groups:
- Group A: Kailali, Kanchanpur, Dadeldhura, and Darchula
- Group B: Baitadi, Bajhang, Doti, and Achham

- Group B Match 1: Baitadi vs. Achham
- Match 2: Doti vs. Bajhang
Poush 20:
- Match 1: Doti vs. Achham
- Match 2: Baitadi vs. Bajhang
Poush 21:
- Match 1: Baitadi vs. Doti
- Match 2: Achham vs. Bajhang
Poush 22:
- Group A Match 1: Kailali vs. Kanchanpur
- Match 2: Dadeldhura vs. Darchula
Poush 23:
- Match 1: Kanchanpur vs. Dadeldhura
- Match 2: Kailali vs. Darchula
Poush 24:
- Match 1: Dadeldhura vs. Kailali
- Match 2: Kanchanpur vs. Darchula
Poush 25: The winners of Group A and Group B will compete in the final match.
Selection for the National Tournament
Sudurpaschim Provincial Cricket Association President Basudev Joshi stated that players who perform well in the qualifiers will be selected for the Prime Minister Cup Women’s National Cricket Tournament, which is set to begin in the first week of Magh in Dhangadhi.
